Until Then is a small, independent website that publishes free, UK-focused date calculators. Our aim is simple: when you ask “how many days until…?” we want to give you the right answer, in plain English, with no clutter and no trickery.
Who runs Until Then
Until Then is run by Linda Garrould. Linda has spent over two decades running web design and SEO businesses, and she founded Until Then to give people clear, accurate, UK-focused date and calendar tools — covering bank holidays, the financial year, and the days, weeks and fortnights left in any year.
Day-to-day, the site is maintained from Norfolk in the East of England. We answer reader questions personally, we don’t sell your data, and we use the same calendar logic you’d find in any good UK office: Monday to Friday for working days, England & Wales bank holidays for the public holiday calendar (with separate Scotland and Northern Ireland notes where they apply), and the UK financial year running 6 April to 5 April.
What we publish
Until Then is a calculators-only site. We publish countdowns and calendar tools for every day of the year, for the end of the month, for the end of the calendar year, and for the end of the UK financial/tax year. We don’t run a forum, we don’t take user submissions, and we don’t host downloads. Every page on the site does one job: it tells you how long there is until a date, and gives you the breakdown by week, month, working day and weekend.
How we make money
Running and hosting a website costs money. Until Then is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense, and may include affiliate links to UK retailers in the future. Where a link earns us a small commission we’ll mark it clearly. We don’t charge readers anything, we don’t run a paywall, and we don’t sell mailing lists.
